"NOBLES" Successfully Engages Audiences in a Thought-Provoking Cinematic Experience
Sukoharjo (09/06) – The HMPS English Literature, Department of Culture and Literature, recently organized the highly anticipated event NOBLES (Nonton Bareng Sastra Inggris), which took place on Friday, June 9, 2023. This captivating movie event centered around the acclaimed film "Hidden Figures" and explored the themes of overcoming discrimination and breaking barriers.
The event was a resounding success, attracting a diverse and enthusiastic audience who were eager to engage in meaningful discussions surrounding the film's powerful message. Attendees were captivated by the remarkable journey depicted in "Hidden Figures" and were inspired by the untold stories of three exceptional women who defied societal expectations.
The event featured Mrs. Yustin Sartika, a youthful and modern-minded lecturer from the English Literature Department, who skillfully presented the film and encouraged an open exchange of ideas among participants. Her dynamic approach and thought-provoking insights created an inclusive atmosphere that facilitated meaningful discussions on the themes of the movie.
