Preposition IV

Sukoharjo (31/05) Preposition (Pre-Proposal Seminar Presentation) is an annual academic activity of the English Literature study program of Raden Mas Said State Islamic University Surakarta. This Preposition activity is an event for 6th-semester English literature students to present a research design or proposal before facing a proposal seminar. This is the fourth time this activity has been held.

This preposition was opened with an international seminar (22/05) with the material "Language Application in Digital Media" delivered by two speakers, Dr. Agung Prasetyo Wibowo, S.S., M.Sas from Gunadharma University, and Miss Saemah Shamim from Nepal.

This preposition activity was held online and offline on May 22-24, 2023. The preposition filled by 147 presenters has something different, with 14 presenters from 5 other universities. Other universities that attended this preposition were Sebelas Maret State University, Muhammadiyah Purwokerto University, Darul Ulum University Islamic Boarding School, Trunojoyo Madura University, and Panca Marga Probolinggo University.

The discussion of Prepositions is divided into three mainstream, translation, Linguistics, and Literature, with a distribution of presenters as many as 30 Translation, 31 Linguistic, and 86 Literature. The audience of this proposition was English literature students in the 2nd and 4th semesters of UIN Raden Mas said Surakarta. This activity is expected to continue as an event for sixth semester students in preparing its research and as an inspiration for second and fourth semester students to know more about research in the English literature study program.
