Three English Letters students of IAIN Surakarta managed to register their names in a selected list of works at Hypnosmith International Writing Contest held by Fix My Language and Pachyderm Tales, on October 9th, 2020. The three of them have submitted works in the form of poetry and short story which will be recorded by the organizer, Fix My Language . Hypnosmith International Writing Contest is an event created by Fix My Language together with Pachyderm Tales. Fix My Language is an online course to improve language skills such as English, Korean, Chinese, Japanese, and Arabic. While Pachyderm Tales is a space for those who like to write any literary works. Then Pachyderm Tales will train and try to make your dream come true especially for being an author by joining events held by Pachyderm Tales.

Jiror Rudif, who sent two poems entitled To Me, To Us and Would You Be My Coldfire, succeeded in an international scale competition. "Actually writing is not my hobby, but it is an interesting event and has an international scale. So I took part in it. " Said the 5th semester student on Saturday, October 10, 2020.

By sending two poems too, Kamila Yasmin revealed that she did not believe that her two works were selected and will be published soon. "Recently I've been writing productively. It's just that I haven't thought about publishing it yet. With my participation in this event, I hope that in the future I can publish more." said the poet of the poem entitled Compete and She Used to be in My Life.

Unlike her two comrades who sent poems,

Lusi Lakshita sent a short story entitled The Woodcutter. "I'm measuring my ability in writing and it turns out that my work can be selected. I will be happy if my work can be read by many people." She said while advising millennials to always be enthusiastic in reading and writing works.

The selected works written in English are planned to be printed on October 15th, 2020. With interesting themes such as Ocean and Earth, Not All Heroes Wear Capes, My Archnemesis, Into The Woods, and Living Life With Lovely Pets, the sales of works will be used as charity. That way, writers are not only given a place to work but also share material with others.
